RPE engines knows the Holden V8 inside and out. Our very own shop vehicle, (Holden Statesman) sports a RPE developed 6,0L Holden V8 with a sleeved block, stroker forged crank, and forged rotating assembly.
We can work on all Holden V8s such as 253, 308-Red-Blue-Black, 4.9Lt, 304 and 5Lt EFI engine.
There are different engine packages available, depending on the budget and objectives.
These packages include 355and 383 cubic inches.
All parts are upgraded or reconditioned in our performance engines, engines have bigger bores, and strocker cast or forged crankshafts.
All engines can be complimented with a cam to suit each application. These can be billet, re-grind or off the shelf. Head work is done in house and may include porting, bigger valves, alloy or CNC heads, roller rockers, valve springs, solid lifters, double row cam chain set, steel harmonic balancer.
We have developed forced induction Holden V8s and we can build the engine with that in mind.
After your engine is up to your specifications we tune your engine on our Dyno using either your vehicle or our shop Dyno vehicle. Tuning may include installing an aftermarket EFI system, performance carburetor and E85 conversion (both EFI or carburetor). The tuning service includes before and after Dyno runs.
We do all our own machining, balancing, installing and Dyno tuning for our engines with qualified mechanics and technicians. Because we do all work in house we can stand behind the results and guarantee the quality of the work undertaken.
We can also recondition the heads, the block, and crank. With all new parts; pistons and rings, main and conrod bearings, all new gaskets, timing gear, water pump etc and paint your engine. We prefer to assemble your engine in house to guarantee the quality of our work and a perfect result.
